This incredible Vermont corn maze was voted one of the "Top 10 Corn Mazes in America"! The Great Vermont Corn Maze has been operating for more than twelve years. Every year the local Vermont family that operates the maze adds new features with your family's fun in mind. Kids of all ages love to explore this seasonal corn maze located on a gorgeous third generation dairy farm in North Danville, Vermont. Each year an intricate new corn maze is designed from scratch and new surprises added to create an exciting adventure for the whole family. Plan accordingly as the maze itself takes the average family more than an hour to complete. Typically the corn maze opens on or around August 1st or when the corn crop reaches five or more feet tall. In addition to the corn maze, a Vermont farm experience is available in the "Barnyard". The Barnyard nature center allows visitors the opportunity to learn about how both wildlife and farm animals benefit from a corn farm. The Barnyard hosts cows, goats, rabbits, etc in a comfortable petting area. Don't bother bringing your golf clubs...sign up for a round of Barnyard golf where you will take a swing at plastic balls using a cow cane. Younger children love crawling through the 100 feet of mouse tunnels. The teenage kids will enjoy a modern farmyard twist to playing laser tag. If you are planning a foliage season visit to Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, consider a night at "Dead North" (usually the first two weekends of October). It is a one of a kind experience that is not for the faint of heart. Visitors will take a chilling hay ride and then embark on a half mile walk through a haunted cornfield and abandoned buildings.
